Rt. 70 and Purgatory Road MVA with Entrapment

Members were alerted to a rescue box at 17:19 hours at State Highway Route 70 and Purgatory Road. Chief 1710 (Pratt) arrived to report one vehicle on its roof with two pinned. Rescue Engine 1712 arrived and began rescue operations. Engine 1722 (Hampton Lakes) provided fire suppression. Engine 1713, Engine 1722 (Hampton Lakes), Mini 4317 (Tabernacle), Rescue 4397 (Tabernacle) and Utility 1718 provided rescue support. The rescue team stabilized the vehicle, popped two doors and removed the back of both seats. Engine 4312 (Tabernacle) and Utility 1728 (Hampton Lakes) handled the LZ, however aeromedical was down due to weather. These two crews stood by as a cover for the duration of the incident. The EMS was handled by BLS 1782 and 1783 (Hampton Lakes) with ALS services provided by Medic 35 and Medic 300 .
