Fatal Accident on Rt. 206

At 22:38 the rescue box was dispatched to Rt. 20 and N Main St. bringing  Chief 1710 (Pratt), DC Chief 17101 (Snow), Rescue Engine 1712, Engine 1722, BLS Unit 1782 and Medic 31.  Chief 1710 arrived to find a passenger vehicle head on vs. a tractor and trailer.  The driver of the vehicle was an obvious DOA.  Chief 1710 held the assignment to RE1712 and BLS 1782.  The crews stood by for the duration of the investigation providing lighting for the NJSP.  Once the investigation was complete the members were tasked with extricating the victim for the Burlington County Medical Examiner.  The companies returned to quarters at 04:00.
