One Overturned off the Roadway
September 7th - At 06:30hrs the companies were dispatched to the area of 76 Pemberton Road for a motor vehicle collision involving an overturned vehicle. Chief 1710 (S.Pratt) arrived to find that the driver had self-extricated himself from his vehicle that was on its roof approximately 50' off the roadway and was unhurt. The assignment was reduced to Rescue Engine 1712 and Utility 1718 to check for leaking fluids and traffic control. The units were released within 20 minutes.

September 6th - During the dinner time for most members, the station was sent to RT 38 and RT 206 for a possible automobile fire. Chief 1710 (S.Pratt) arrived to find that the engine compartment fire was knocked down with a fire extinguisher and just needed to be wet down by Rescue Engine 1712. During this incident, Utility 1718 and Chief 1720 (Smith) handled an assist EMS incident on Ridge Road.
Crews Run Fire in Shamong

September 6th - Just after 05:00hrs Chief 1710 (S.Pratt), Tender 1716 and Rescue Engine 1712 were on their way to a structure fire on Shawnee Trail in Shamong. Initial companies were on location working a well involved structure fire. Chief 1710 arrived and was assigned as the communication officer at the command post. Tender 1716 arrived and setup portable ponds for a tender shuttle operation. The balance of the crew from Tender 1716 and Rescue Engine 1712 was sent up to the scene to assits with the suppression operation. All units were back in quarters by 09:30hrs. (PHOTOS BY JOHN WELLING)
