Late Morning Rush-hour MVA

August 22nd   At 09:07hrs Station 171 and the EMS Duty Crew were dispatched to the intersection of RTs 206 and 38 for reports of a MVA. Shortly after companies were dispatched, NJSP arrived to find entrapment on what appeared to be a serious in nature accident involving 3 vehicles, which got the call upgraded to a rescue assignmentadding Station 172 and Medics. Ambulance 1782 and Medics arrived advising they were going to have three patients and also confirmed negative entrapment. RE1712 (Randall) advised the correct address of 1897 RT 38 and assisted with packaging and loading patients, and containing roadway hazards. Due to the nature of the call and airing on the side of caution, the crew added RE1911 (Haines) to the call while enroute, however their services were not needed and they were quickly returned. Also on the call were Chief 1900 (Bozoski), Deputy Chief 17101 (E. Snow) and Ambulance 5091. Companies remained on scene for approximately one hour.

Special Cover Assignment

August 4th The Vincent Fire Company was asked to cover the west side of Pemberton Twp. during their annual water carnival. Nine members volunteered for the assignment which enabled us to staff Command 1710, Rescue Engine 1712 and Tender 1716. This equipment was also available to respond back into Southampton Twp. if necessary. Members returned to quarters around 22:30hrs.
