Small Fire in Mobile Estates
June 27th – Taskforce 171 (District 17, R191, T131, R251 and Medics) was alerted for the dwelling fire in the Mobile Estates section of the township just after 2100hrs. Chief 1710 (S. Pratt) signed on to receive the report of a mobile home fire with victims refusing to leave the structure. First to arrive, Chief 1900 (Bozoski) reported nothing showing and reduced the speed of all incoming with the exception of RE1712 (B.Pratt). RE1911 (Haines) and RE1712 arrived simultaneously and were given orders to search the interior and underneath the structure to locate the source of a moderate smoke condition throughout the home. Unable to find anything, crews utilized a positive pressure fan to help clear out the smoke and in doing so found the seat of the fire located in the “Alpha/Delta” corner bedroom. Crews opened up and extinguished the fire, containing it primarily to the wall and some personal items in the immediate vacinity. The incident was held with RE1911, RE1712 and T1716 (K.Snow), the remainder of the taskforce was recalled. The fire is under investigation by the Burlington County Fire Marshal's office.

June 2nd – The members joined together with Goodwill Fire Department (Pemberton Boro) and Moorestown Fire Department for some mutual aid training. We met at the Camden County Fire Academy to utilize the propane equipped live burn building. With 50 firefighters in attendance, we were able to split into 6 companies plus the command and training staff. The companies rotated through fire attack on two floors, as well as ventilation, search and RIT operations. This exercise was a huge success. This marks the first time that Vincentown and Pemberton have ever trained with Moorestown. The members of the Vincent Fire Company would like to thank Goodwill and Moorestown for participating in this valuable training. We are all looking forward to the next one!
