February 26th – At 17:09 the station was alerted to Lenape Trail for the auto fire. Chief 1710 (S. Pratt) arrived to find a passenger vehicle with a well involved engine compartment. RE1712 (D’Amico) arrived and stretched the bumper line making quick work of the fire.
Winter Weather Brings 3rd Rescue for 2007

February 25th – At 18:15 the Rescue Box was alerted to 225 New Freedom Rd for an accident with one trapped. Chief 1710 (S. Pratt) arrived to find a vehicle in a ditch, on its side, with its roof up against a large tree. The patient was conscious and alert, but heavily trapped. RE1712 (B. Pratt) arrived first due and began stabilization efforts with the Paratech Struts. Once complete the crew went to work with the hydraulic tools. E1713 (D’Amico) and U1718 arrived and provided support to the rescue operation. E1722 stretched a 1 ¾" protection line. Due to the position of the patient, personnel had to work the vehicle from three sides. Members worked vigorously for 50 minutes using various hydraulic, electric and pneumatic tools to free the patient. Once extricated the patient was packaged by company members and carried to an awaiting BLS Unit. While returning to the station both crews picked up separate motor vehicle collisions on Church Rd. Members returned to quarters around 21:00 hrs. The station ended the day with 7 incidents bringing our YTD to 63. |

Winter
Storm Brings Calls
The winter storm that moved over the Northeast on Tuesday has
brought our call volume back up to normal. Since Saturday the
members have responded to 17 incidents bringing our yearly total to
50.
February 14th – The storm continued into Wednesday bringing 5 wires calls, 1 motor vehicle collision with no injuries. Then around 22:30 the company was dispatched to the number block of Pricketts Mill Rd in Tabernacle for the house fire. Chief 4300 (Welling) arrived to find an attached garage with heavy smoke showing. First due E4311 arrived and extinguished the fire within minutes. Chief 1710 (Pratt) was assigned Division D, RE1712 was assigned the RIT duties and T1716 was staged. Units from Vincentown cleared with 20 minutes.
February 13th – The members started the day responding to Pemberton with T1716 on the special request. Due to RE1911 getting a quick knock on the fire, the Tender was recalled enroute. An hour later RE1712 was on the way to RT 38 and RT206 for a vehicle into the Wawa. The company arrived and determined that there were no injuries and no major stability concerns. The incident was turned over to the NJSP and the building inspector. Just after 15:00 the structure box was dispatched to the number block of Church Rd. DC17101 arrived to find a SFD with smoke showing. RE1712 arrived first due and stretched a 1 ¾” line. T1716 arrived shortly after and picked up 12’s water supply. The company found the fire in the wall and made quick work of it. RE1911 and E1314 redirected to 171 for the cover and E1723 was returned.

About 45 minutes later the station was dispatched to Big Hill Rd. for an accident with injuries. Apparatus from Southampton and Tabernacle arrived to find a vehicle into the woods. Fire personnel assisted with patient care due to the snow/ice conditions and then quickly cleared the incident.

February 12th – RE1712 and T1716 responded to the number block of Robbins Way for the house fire. The companies arrived to find a malfunctioning heater. Later that afternoon RE1712 responded to RT 38 and RT 206 for another motor vehicle collision. DC17101 arrived to find no injuries and recalled the company.
February 10th – Chief 1710, RE1712 and E1713 handled two alarm activations and a motor vehicle collision.
February 7th – At 15:51 companies were dispatched for reports of two vehicles involved in a crash at the Southampton intersection of Church and Eayrestown Roads. D/C 17101 (Snow) arrived on scene to confirm the report and advised there to be three patients. He also had the assignment upgraded to a full rescue box having two occupants trapped in a vehicle. RE1712 (D'Amico) arrived with six to go in service for the rescue, popping the passenger-side door, and removing the "B" post to assist with patient removal. E1722 arrived to secure vehicles and pull RE1712's bumper line for rescue protection. U1718 was also on scene for additional manpower. EMS 258 transported two of the patients while EMS 178 transported one. Station 251 was also dispatched to fill out the rescue box, but due to their services not being needed, they were soon recalled.
February 2nd – Official press release from New Jersey Congressman Jim Saxton, naming Vincent Fire Company as the recipient of a grant through the Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. Funds to be received will be in the amount of $25,530 to help cover costs of diesel exhaust purification equipment for RE1712 and T1716. Also being covered will be a gear extractor to help extend the life of turnout gear for the company's members.
